Gimme 5 - toddler snacks for on-the-go

Whenever we're out for a long day, snacks are the things that get us through! Here are some of our favourites, what's yours?

1 - Apples & grapes - at home we have these straight from bag or vine, but these are great for days out.

2 - Cheerios - little C loves these, he can pronounce the word correctly (which proves just how much he likes them). We only ever have them as a snack and his face lights up when I get the tub out.

3 - Goodies Mini Oaty Bites - I only found these the other day but they're a staple of the nappy bag now. We used to get the bars and they went EVERYWHERE, they're just so crumbly. C-bear doesn't want to miss a crumb of the bites, which means tidy eating, the perfect size.

4 - Baby Biscotti - these travel well, line up nicely in our snack tub and can be given whole for a special treat or snapped up to be given a little at a time to stop whining whilst sitting on a train/bus.

5 - Sweetcorn Rings - like hula hoops but healthier.

  1. We get through lots of raisins, and goodies biscuits! That and, like you, apples and grapes, but also carrot and cucumber sticks, cheese cubes and cherry tomatoes (if the weather isn't too hot). Oo and sundried banana and mangos (think the brand is tropical wholefoods). :)
